We bid farewell to Eyvond Shroads of Garrett, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 29, 2025 at the age of 86. Eyvond touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phlemon Whobrey and Blanche Whobrey (White); and her siblings, Philip Whobrey, Ercie Clayborn and Joan Stumler.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Shroads (Michelle) of Garrett, IN, Ronald Shroads (Linda) of Waterloo, IN, Sandra Shroads Michels (John) of Garrett, IN and Valerie Shroads (Steve Souder); her niece Sharon Stinson of Macon, GA; and her close friend Helen Holbrook of Kendallville, IN.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home (1277 Co Rd 56, Garrett, IN 46738).
Private services will take place and burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery – Ft. Wayne, IN Memorials are to the Wawaka Methodist Church.
