She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Delmar Trowbridge and Thelma Clara Trowbridge (Schmidt); her husband Garth Gillespie of Anthony's Catholic Church; her grandson Adam Myers; and her siblings, Patricia Engle, Donna Conrad, Judy Pretschold and Lawrence Trowbridge.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy (Dan Rupp), Juli Dickson of Valdosta, Georgia. and Cherie Gillespie of Fort Wayne, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Tyler Stark), Drake Mason of Chicago, Jenea' (Travis Gunter), Jacob Dickson of Valdosta, Georgia, Andrew Myers of Fremont, Indiana, Aaron Myers of Auburn, Indiana and Jalissa (Alex Rivera); her great grandchildren, Carter, Camryn, Collin, Roslyn, Elaina, Caden and Cedric; her stepgrandchildren, Tirzah Rupp of Bryan, Ohio, Miriam Rupp of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Faith Rupp of Edon, Ohio, Lily Rupp of Edgerton, Ohio, Charity Rupp of Edon, Ohio and Isaiah Rupp of West Unity, Ohio.; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Owen, Percy and Azrael; and her siblings, Jeanie Fredrickson of Kendallville, Janet (Lyle Vian), Katie Conrad of Elkhart, Steve (Pam Trowbridge) and Dan (Dena Trowbridge). She is also survived by loving mother to her three daughters.
Memorial donations may be made in Helen's honor to either Dekalb Pregnancy Center, Auburn, Indiana or National Breast Cancer Foundation.
