He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Fender and Martha Altimus (Fackler). He is survived by: his siblings, Laura Madsen of Hamilton, Ervin Fender (Jane) of Auburn, Lonnie Fender of Waterloo and Sheril Worman (Art) of Corunna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
