He is survived by: his wife Lois Custer (Johnson); his children, Ted, Diane Custer of Corunna, Tim, Tanya Custer of Auburn, Tara, Thomas Smurr of Garrett, James P, Tracy Miller of Anderson, Michael C., Lynne Miller of Fort Wayne, Eric H. and Trisha Van Buskirk of Garrett; and his grandchildren, Christie of Samantha, J. W., David Michael, Eric Steven, Ashtyn, Maggi, Maya, Mason, Ryleigh, Alex, Adalyn, Ethan and Addison.
