He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Norden and Mela Norden (Sunderman); his wife Doris A. Blomeke; his daughter Rhonda Norden; his son-in-law Scott Newman; his siblings, Donald Norden and Betty Heiman; and his brother-in-law George Hess.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Newman of Garrett, Michael Norden (Joan) of Avilla, Jeffery Norden of LaOtto and Jennifer Rogness (Tony) of South Bend; his grandchildren, Jessica King (Alex), Ryan Norden and Luke Norden; his great grandchild Victoria King; his sisters, Doris Hess of Huntertown, Bonnie Buuck (Ron) of Ossian and Janet Hackman (Mike) of Columbus; and his siblings-in-law, Glee Norden of Avilla and Dave Heiman of Avilla.
