He is survived by : his mother Tammy Slone; his stepfather Thomas Slone of Garrett; his siblings, Philip Combs of Garrett, Dennis Pierson of Garrett, Jackie Hamilton of Fort Wayne, Shari Kapp of Churubusco, Cassie Griffin of Hamilton, Jeremy Henderson of Garrett, Christina Picklesimer of Auburn, Brian John Ellis of Garrett and Kenny New of Corunna; his close friend Megan Brown of Auburn; his stepchildren, Tucker Brown of Auburn and Hanna Brown of Auburn; and his siblings, David Boltz, Clay Claybaugh, Chris Roberts, Daniel Parrett, Josh Fulk, Jaeleen Thompson, Leon Hicks, Joey Smith and Michelle Woods. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

“He is gone but he will NEVER be forgotten. Travis was an awesome man. He had a heart bigger than anyone I have ever seen, and probably ever will. So much love and compassion it was overwhelming. He would literally give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. I will remember him as the rowdy, beer drinkin, country music singin, loving and caring, funny as all get out man that he was with all the respect you can give another human. I am lucky to have known such a wonderful man.”
