Sanders; her siblings, Thrussie, Johnny, Alice of Eacho, R. J., Catherine, Maxine, Barbara, Hope, Preston, Jr. and Cherie; and her pet Lucky Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherizod Harwell (Derrick) and Shalonda Robinson (Darnell); her grandchildren, LaTysha Sanders of Hammond, IN., Marvin Sanders (Vanessa) of Merrillville, IN., Louis Willis, Jr. (Atavia) of Indianapolis, IN., Kevin Johnson (Amaryllis) of Hobart, IN., Breona Muller of Beecher, IL., Kyle Johnson of Hammond, IN., Brandon Burns of Hammond, IN., Darnell B. Robinson of Hammond, IN. and Darion Robinson of Hammond, IN.; her great grandchildren, Leylah Pippion, Legend Triplett-Hudson, Damian Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Julian Johnson, Kali Johnson and JaKobi Sanders; her brother Robert Williams of Gary, IN.; her goddaughters, Shronda Hargrove, Candace Stanley, Samantha Simmons, Avery Smith, Ava and Vada Simmons; and her friends, Wilma Croon, Peggy Washington, Ruby Howard, Stephanie "Sweetpea" Harwell, Linda Dolphin, Pat Christman, Sandy Hallier, Carolyn Elmore, Pat Moore and Alvin Ross. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Community Baptist Church (707 169th St, Hammond, IN 46324).
