He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara A. Hopper and Earl Clifton Hopper; and his siblings, Melvin Hopper, Michael Thompson and Donna Golden.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Carolyn; his daughter Shannon Hopper (Eddie Guzik); his grandchild Trinity Miller (Craig); his sisters, Debbie Sanchez, Patsy Thompson and Rose Hopper-Wadell (late Skeet); Exa Hopper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.
