He is survived by: his spouse Louis Sherwood; his daughter Casandra Brummell-Thomas (Patrick) of Woodbridge, VA.; his grandson Tracey Sherwood, Jr.; his siblings, Florence L. Sherwood of Easton, MD, Stanley of Gary, Indiana, Jacob (Mary Ann) of Gary, Indiana and Norman (Lola) of Gary, Indiana; his nieces, Cynthia and Ellen; his nephew Quentin; and his close friend John Guy. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
