He is survived by: his wife Fleater Seaborn; his stepson Joel Ricks; his children, Sylvia Izomo, Denise Teal (Jeri), Latisha Baines (Michael), Tomeka Paige (Willie), William "Jerry" Colbert (Tamerio) and Gene Brown (Natasha); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Parson, Patricia Eley, Boussean McClenny (Esther), Royal Eley, Jr. (Mattie) and James Eley (Cary). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
