With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Felipe Hernandez of Gary, Indiana, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Hernandez and Maria Hernandez; and his siblings, Luz and Gabriel Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Hernandez; his children, Gabriela Huebner (Michael), Patricia Maxwell (Michael), Judith Torres III (Felix), Maria Vasquez (Manuel), Felipe Hernandez (Maria), Alfredo Hernandez (Cecelia) and Barbara Yanez (Alejandro); and his siblings, Celia, Estela, Rosario, Luis and Micaela Hernandez. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
