She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Jensen (Patterson); her stepfather George Jensen; and her father Clarence Ching. She is survived by: her husband William Scheeringa (Billy); her children, Amy Eenigenburg (Chris) and Dennis Scheeringa (Jenna); her grandsons, Dylan, Luke, Benjamin, Wyatt, Cody and Jase; and her sister Sandra Flanegan (James).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to Phil's Friends Crown Point Hope Center (cancer ministry) or Joni and Friends (disability ministry).
