He is survived by : his children, Xavier James Brooks (Sheila) of Austin, April Denise Brooks of Gary and Jimekia Lenora Faulkner of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his niece Lashawndra Nicole Bradley (Nikki); his nephew Eric Bradley; his stepchildren, Denise Kinnon (Larry), Jacqueline Thomas (Robert), Yolanda Morris (Derek), Andrew Dalton (Nikki), Depree Dalton (Naomi), Wendell Hogan, Marcus Dalton, Herman Hawkins and Demetrius Bankhead; and his stepgrandchildren, Alona Love (Derrich), Diamond Morris, DaJon Morris, A'Liegha Love and Derrich Love, Jr.. He is also survived by cousins, other step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren, and friends.
