He was predeceased by : his daughter Paula; his parents, Nikolaos Maroules and Polimia Kouloumbis; and his siblings, Jerry Maroules, Toula and Katerini.

He is survived by : his wife Eleni Cholomitis; his brother Dionysis Maroulis (Katina Maroulis); and his nieces and nephews, Nick Maroulis, Paula Protopapadakis and Fotini Vasquez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
