She was predeceased by: her husband John Weems; and her sisters, Sally Wade and Mary Tolbert. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Robinson (Charles) of Franklin and Calvin Weems of Gary, Indiana; her grandsons, Isaiah Lee Robinson of Franklin, Wisconsin and Elijah Devonne Robinson of Franklin, Wisconsin; and her nieces, Carolyn Tolbert of Cincinnati and Carrie Wade of Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Logan Park Assembly of Christ Church (1315 Polk St, Gary, IN 46407). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
