It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawana Paul of Gary, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Grimmett and Imogene Grimmett. She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Heather Roehr (Rick Perez), Christopher Roehr, Justin Roehr and James B. Paul (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Payton, Taylor, Austin Perez and Addison Paul; and her siblings, Michelle Peterson (Mike), Dwayne Grimmett and Mike Grimmett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
