With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynda V. Higginbotham (Gary, Indiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Chester L. Higginbotham, Jr.; her sister Lydia V. Lowry; and her parents, George Vickman and Jessie Vickman. She is survived by : her children, Anthony LaMont Higginbotham of South Bend, Indiana and Alia Marie Donald (RaShaun) of Gary, Indiana; her grandchildren, Loryn, Laila, Jaxon Higginbotham and Ethan Donald; her niece Lynette Ross; her nephew DeLaron Lowry (Katrina); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kennedy, Kori Lowry, Bruce Ross, Jr. and DeLaron Lowry, Jr.. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and devoted neighbors.
