It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Katherine Lopez of Gary, Indiana, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Katherine Lopez to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by : her husband David J. Lopez; her children, Anthony Smith (Cheryl), Scott Smith (Kim), John Price Van (Wendy) and Jennifer Cullen (Bill); and her brother James Price (Victoria). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Calumet Area would be appreciated.
