He was predeceased by : his daughter Mary Eberwein (Pierce); his parents, Russell Pierce and Jeanette Pierce; and his siblings, Max, Dale, Sandy and Kathy.

He is survived by : his sons, Kent Pierce (Stacy) and Max Pierce (Deanne); his grandchildren, Camie, Jesika, Kimberly, Chantel, Timothy and Megan; his great grandchildren, Brynleigh, Wyatt and Hayden; and his brothers, Don, David, Calvin and Paul Pierce. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
