He was predeceased by: his mother Julia Lozier; his stepfather Frank Lozier; and his siblings, Louise Scott and Robert Lozier. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Collins; his children, Michael Collins Jr., Chris Levine (Roger) and Jamie Barnett (Parnell); his sister Joanne Serna (Steve); and his grandchildren, Aaron Collins, Jordan Barnett, Percy Barnett, Dylan Collins, William Levine, Joseph Levine and Jorel Collins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
