She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Smeltzer and Hertha Smeltzer; her husband Richard J. Ehrenfeld; her close friend Sam Someson; and her daughter Gail L. Koch.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Ehrenfeld (Susan), Marsha Gilman (Paul) and Pam Tripp; her son-in-law Hans Koch; and her nephews, Craig Van Atta (Sara), Kurt Van Atta (Murph) and Mark Van Atta (Judy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
