It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salomon G Mendez (Gary, Indiana), who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Pedro Mendez and Elvira Mendez (Gomez); his son Arturo Mendez; his siblings, Belen Mendez, Alfredo, Leopoldo and Chava Mendez; his aunt Juana "LaLa" Mendez (Leobardo); and his cousin Fred Mendez.

He is survived by : his wife Celia (Chela); his daughters, Juana Mendez and Elizabeth Gonzalez (Roberto); his grandchildren, Celia, Julian, Jeremy and Janero; his sister Maria Mendez; his cousin Rose Reyes (George); his pet Toby; and also, Richard Mendez (Juanita), Linda Mendez and Terica Yarbrough. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

He was appropriately recognized for his contribution to the company.
