She is survived by : her children, Janet Brooks-Marshall of Cedar Lake, Wendy-Brooks-Strange of Cordova and Roosevelt Sr. Leslie (Brenda) of Crown Point, Indiana; her goddaughter Valerie Hines of Southfield, Michigan; her grandchildren, Dale Marshall (Kelli) of Indianapolis, Tayan Marshall McDowell (Richard) of Avon, Brian Marshall (Nikisha) of Cedar Lake and Brandon Strange, Sr. of Gary, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Kayla Marshall of Indianapolis, Kristopher Marshall of Indianapolis, Bryce McDowell of Fort Wayne, Sierra McDowell of Avon, Sydney McDowell of South Euclid, Nina Marshall of Merrillville, Noah Marshall of Cedar Lake, Brandon Strange, Jr. of Gary and Brendon Strange of Gary, Indiana; her brother John Lowe (Irma) of Merrillville, Indiana; her nieces, Brenda Leslie of Crown Point and Gloria Person of Gary, Indiana; and her close friends, Jamesetta, Henry Meadows and Mary Hunter. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
