She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her parents, Charles W. Eakins and Beulah I. Eakins (Garner); and her siblings, Onnie Derssett, Margaret Walser, Mike Eakins, Delbert Eakins and Bill Eakins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Georgianna Pearson, Leola "Diane" Fields (Brian), Nate Eakins (Diana) and Steve Eakins (Helen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel (400 E Main St, Gas City, IN 46933). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
