We announce the death of Terry McCarty of Gas City, Indiana, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward McCarty and Leona May Anglemeyer; his former wife Jessie; his son Timothy; his grandchildren, Monica, Jasmine, Makinna and Myleigh; and his great grandchild Dulce.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Francine McCarty; his children, Vanessa Phillips (Stephen) of California, Rachael Eyer (Jerry) of Gas City, Ryan McCarty (Katara) of Indianapolis, Delena McCarty of Indianapolis, Mona McCarty of Marion, Luke McCarty of Marion, Adam McCarty (April) of Young America, Joey McCarty of Columbus, Justin McCarty (Ashli) of Marion, Ben McCarty (Sara) of Marion, Darrell McCarty of Gas City, Monte McCarty of Gas City, Heidi Anglemeyer of Florida, Terry and Sandy; his grandchildren, Bria, Brenna, Paris, Joel, Amaris, Jayse, Jenessa, Brooke, Derek, Spencer, Dustin, Michaela, Jordan, Jhaiden, Malachi, McKenzie, Jaylan, Issac, Phoenix, Kaisen, Serenity, Verity, Felicity, Chris, Cherish and Krystal; his great grandchildren, Audrina, Atlas, Leya, Aiden, Kiptyn, Katelynn, Kylie, Jazirra, Israel, Royal, Huxley, Ethan, Elijah, Levi, Benjamin, Lilah, Luna, Layla, Anthony, Naiyeli, Yeshua, Macee, Iliana, Kena, Ariana, A'Lisha, Lidia and Alexander; his siblings, Dennis McCarty, Pat Koselak (Randy) and Tena Summerville; his sister-in-law Gail Perecky (Dan); and his pet Bella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at the Gas City Park (701 S Broadway St, Gas City, IN 46933).
