Verna leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Verna’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Verna will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Bruner and Chloie Bruner (Street); and her sisters, Louise Marine (Mark), Judith Simpson (Don) and May Irene Bruner.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald J. Dailey of Fairmount; her son Ronald J. Dailey (Lorel) of McHenry, IL; her granddaughter Alyssa Ann Rogers (Von) of Milwaukee, WI; and her sister Nancy Carpenter (Bill) of Winter Haven, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel (400 E Main St, Gas City, IN 46933).
