Dampier of Gaston, Indiana, born in Muncie, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2026 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Leo" Dampier and Elizabeth "Betty" Dampier; his wife Cathy Dampier; his siblings, Kevin Dampier and Carol Jane Dampier; and his niece Ashley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rachelle Haughn (Sean) of Muncie and Jeanette Crouch (James) of Yorktown; his brothers, Greg Dampier of Wolcottville and Lin Dampier (Dianna) of Spencer, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Eric Anderson (Marsha), Kristee Guy of Tennessee and Bridget Gallagher (Mike) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Shyanne, Alysha, Justin Crouch of Yorktown, Collin and Emily Haughn of Muncie; Sunday Anderson of North Carolina. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
