She was predeceased by: her husband James D. Briggs, Jr.; her parents, John Carl Sink and Lucinda Marie Sink (Karch); and her sisters, Jean Ann Sink and Joan Ann Beckham.
She is survived by: her sons, John Briggs (Penny) of Wolcottville, IN, Richard Briggs (Carolyn) of Decatur, IN, Christopher Briggs of Indianapolis, IN and Andrew Briggs (Rhonda) of Geneva, IN; her granddaughters, Emily Briggs-Bourgerie and Leslie Snider; and her great grandchildren, Mallory Snider and Avery Snider.
