He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Paul and Madeline Paul (Isaacs); and his brother Mark Paul. He is survived by: his wife Betty Page (Dyson); his children, Diana Carden (Tony), David Page and Deborah Pool; his grandchildren, Justin Pool (Molly), Jereme Baxter, Megan Spears, Lauren Woodmansee (Stephen), Gregory Carden (Sunny), Bryce Carden, Alana Aphaivongs and Kellen Aphaivongs; and his siblings, Marilyn Wilson (Bud), Joan Meador, Susie Emerson and Mickey Paul. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in David's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
