She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Howell and Claud Burd. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Reed; her daughter Kimberly Heck; her son-in-law Pete; her son Jeffrey Reed; and her grandchildren, Jeff Heck, Jenna Troutman (Tim) and Andrew Reed. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2778 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150).
