It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Rasmussen of Georgetown, Indiana, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Linda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Linda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Victor and Beatrice Marie Carlson; and her sister Anne M. Carlson. She is survived by: her husband Thomas S. Rasmussen; her daughters, Amy J. Rasmussen and Beth A. McGowen (Tyler); her grandchildren, Miriam and Silas; and her brother Richard Carlson (Lisa).
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (7420 IN-64, Georgetown, IN 47122). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (2500 St Mary's Dr NE, Lanesville, IN 47136).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Jeffersonville [Indiana] Animal Shelter.
