He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Mason and Alta Collins Mason; his brothers, Ned Mason, Jr., R. V. Mason, Toby Mason and Edward Mason; and his grandson Richard Coulter.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Skeens Mason of Ramsey, IN; his children, Lowell Mason, Jr. of Georgetown, IN, Mary Coulter of Nevada, Betty Mason of Ramsey and Lisa Wells (Larry) of Louisville, KY; his stepsons, Jeremy Dunn of Ramsey, IN and Justin Smith of Ramsey, IN; his siblings, Charles Phillip Mason (Melissa) of New Washington, IN, Gene Mason of Pineville, KY, Betty Sue Coulter of Salem, IN, Martha Hyer (Steve) of Greenville, IN, Sharon Shrader of West Virginia and Ellen Bernice McCoy (Dale) of New Albany, IN; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Brian, Steven, Allen, Timothy, Jacob, Destiny, Danielle, Sarah, Emily and Brandon. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (7420 IN-64, Georgetown, IN 47122). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
