With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Shaw in Georgetown, Indiana, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Shaw; her daughter Teri Lee Priddy; and her parents, Elmer McLain and Esther McLain. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Shaw Ragains (Donnie), Larry Shaw (Janet) and Sandy Edwards; her grandchildren, Staci Flispart (Paul), Eric Edwards (Amy), Kelli Willis (T. J. Anderson), Justin Shaw (Rainy) and Whitney Shaw (Manny); and her great great grandchild Esther. She is also survived by fifteen loving great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
