He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matney and Rita Matney (Lehr); his siblings, Zita Raver and Kevin Matney; and his grandson Myles Moore.

He is survived by: his wife Juelane Matney; and his daughters, Michelle Matney, Gina Matney and Mica Matney.
