He is survived by: his parents, Valentin Hernandez Gomez and Alicia Rodriguez Soriano of Goshen; his wife Esther Hernandez (Graciliano) of Goshen; his daughters, Yakelyn Hernandez (Manuel Lopez) of Goshen and Katherine Hernandez (Francisco Guerra) of Goshen; his grandchildren, Aurora Eilene Lopez and Manuel Lopez III; and his siblings, Norberto Hernandez (Maria) and Norma Hernandez (Kurt Vargas).
His dedication to the community was evident through his tireless involvement in First Fridays, volunteering at church ministries, participating in the annual fair parade, and his frequent donations to The Window to help those in need.
