She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Troyer and Evangeline K. Troyer (Allison); her husband Stanley Maurice Nelson; and her sister Betty Ulery. She is survived by: her children, Tina Leslie (James) of Goshen and Tymm Nelson (Beth) of South Bend; her grandsons, James Stanley Leslie (Olivia), Cody Thor Leslie and Seth Michael Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Sylvi Ophelia Leslie and Nathan Archer.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miller-Stewart Funeral Home (1003 S Main St, Middlebury, IN 46540). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Shore Cemetery (7235 100 N, Shipshewana, IN 46565).
