He was predeceased by: his father William Helmuth. He is survived by: his mother Rosemond Hartzler (Boyer); his wife Judy (Applegate); his daughters, Michelle Young (James), Lori Burkholder and Melinda Shriner (Scott); his grandchildren, Jordan (Garrett), Christian (Leslie), Cameron (Brooklyn), Ashley, Alison, Brody, Bailey, Bella (Ricky) and Scotty; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Kovu, Everly, Oliver, Ashton, Lilly and Sawyer. He is also survived by 4 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home (311 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
