The passing of Donald Sibal (Goshen, Indiana), born in Albion, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sibal and Verna Sibal (Pastor); his wife Bernice Zerfas of John's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Anna Carroll, Frank, George and Robert Sibal.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Schneider of Goshen, Stephen Sibal (Teri) of Troy, MI., Philip Sibal (Marianne) of Elysburg, Paul Sibal (Terri) of The Woodlands, Texas, Thomas Sibal (Stephanie) of Goshen, IN., Carol Chase (Jonathan) of Pinehurst, N. C. and Kathleen Myers (Mike) of Fort Wayne, IN.. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (417 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic School Tuition Assistance Fund and Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
