He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Sutter and Alma Sutter (Nafziger); and his wife Margaret Kauffman. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Leggett (Eric) of Plainfield, IL, David Sutter (Janice) of South Bend, IN and Debra Drescher (Greg) of Middletown, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Erin Leggett, Julia O'Brian (Daniel), Luke Drescher (Jennifer Pierce), Rachel Drescher, Benjamin Parker Sutter (Grace) and Brian Sutter (Jessica Gotwals); and his great grandchildren, Franklin Sablan, Lily O'Brian, Simeon Parker Sutter, Luke Sutter, Miles Parker Sutter and Lydia Sutter.
Memorials should be directed to the Levi and Alma Sutter Scholarship Fund at Goshen College.
