We bid farewell to Elizabeth J. Oyler of Goshen, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 8, 2026 at the age of 90. Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Laverne Leland and Harry Leland; her husband Fred; and her siblings, Jeanne Sakel, David and Paul Leland.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Ostby of Louisville, KY; her children, Bethany Hartman (Greg) of Elkhart, IN, LeAnne Gormong of Arlington, VA and Tim Oyler of Anderson, IN; and her grandchildren, Cami Brubaker (Jake), Cara DuBois (Chris), Callie Patrick (Arron), Kristin Weiss, Karissa Simmons (John), Evan Oyler and Lucas Oyler (Marah). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Eastern Howard School Corporation (221 West Main Street, Suite One, Greentown, IN 46936) designated to the Fred and Betty Oyler Memorial Scholarship.
