He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Russell and Ethel Humerickhouse (Trueblood); and his brother Dal. He is survived by: his wife Rena; his children, Glenn (Laura) of Noblesville and Kristina Peterson of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Nathan, Lily, Micah, Grant, Megan, Claire and Caleb; his brothers, Doug and Lee; Ray, Raymond, Marty, Jeff and Rusty. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Goshen First Church (214 S 5th St, Goshen, IN 46528).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bashor Children's Home, World Missionary Press in New Paris, or Goshen First Church.
