She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin D. Kenaga and Laura D. Kenaga (Long); her husband John R. Detwiler; her son Tim Detwiler; and her siblings, Paul Kenaga, Ruth Fields, Devon Kenaga and Maxine Buckley.

She is survived by: her children, David Detwiler (Linda) of Nappanee, Mark Detwiler (Susan) of Wilmington, DE, Lori Novachenko (Peter) of Osceola and Kathy Harris (Doug) of Elkhart; and her sister Claudine Gluckert of Elkhart. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
