Joann Hively Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Joann Hively of Goshen, Indiana is shared. Joann, born on July 8, 1946, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Joann will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Joann by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Joann is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Joann’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Anderson Kincaid and Leila Hester Kincaid (Rucker); and her brother John Samuel Kincaid. She is survived by: her husband William "Pete" Hively; her son Jeffrey Michael Hively (Sandra); and her siblings, Fred Thornton of Big Chimney, Celesta Lucille Bridwell of Ripley, Nina Valoree Elmore of Clendenin and Verna Morine Light of Clendenin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
