He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Hochstedler and Magdalena Hochstedler (Schlabach); his son Jeffrey Hochstedler; and his siblings, Leona Yoder, Alta Stalter, Elsie Hochstetler, Leon and Glen Hochstedler.
He is survived by: his children, Jeryl Hochstedler (Patricia) and Gwenolyn Diller (Rodney) of Goshen; his daughter-in-law Beverly Hochstedler; his grandchildren, Brad Hochstedler (Laura), Cherry Miller (Shawn), Adam Hochstedler (Jennifer), Danae Bell (Justin), John Diller (Sara) and Matthew Diller; his siblings, Grace Graber, Lewis Hochstedler (Marilyn), Verl Hochstedler (Shirley), Wayne Hochstedler (Kathy) and Virginia; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Hochstedler, Ruby Hochstedler and Merlin Hochstetler. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be directed to Jefferson Community Church for the Dominican Republic Mission project.
