He was predeceased by: his parents, Ortho McElmurry and Elise McElmurry (McGregor); his granddaughter Leah; and his siblings, Archie, Terry, Wilma, Pat and Corabelle.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalee (Landis); his daughters, Joann Elder of Goshen, Karen Pfahler (Lee) of Goshen and Sheila McElmurry; his grandchildren, Rachel Rump (Chad), Hannah Elder, Abby Sandavol (Raf), Miranda Pfahler and Isaac Pfahler; his great grandchildren, Thea, Silas and Ian Rump; his sister Claudia Miller of White Pigeon; and his niece Shawna Schmucker (Marvin) of Middlebury.
