She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Swihart and Rosamond Swihart; her husband H. Paul Chalfant; her siblings, Alice Alvarez, Ruth Roig, Ray and Don Swihart; and her friend Laverle Larimer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Keck (Norman Redington) and Kathy Keck (Tim Peters); her stepchildren, Craig Chalfant (Sharon) and Marsha Chalfant; and her brother Roy Swihart (Carolyn). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
