With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Makiah Jace Lehman of Goshen, Indiana, born in Topeka, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2025 at the age of 3. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Harley Jay and Wilma Miller. He is survived by: his parents, Faron Lehman and Joanna Lehman (Bontrager) of Goshen; his siblings, Jared Nathan, Zachary Derek, Gabriel Nolan and Alyssa Kate; and his grandparents, Glen D., Rosa Ellen Lehman of Goshen, Joseph E. and Alta Fern Bontrager of LaGrange. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Family Residence (61362 Co Rd 43, Goshen, IN 46528). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at the Bontrager Family Cemetery (2495 S 1000 W, Shipshewana, IN 46565).
