She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert J. Bare and Wanda L. Bare (Bridinger); her sister Miriam Roush; and her nephews, Gary and Greg Whitehead.

She is survived by : her sons, David Whitehead (Kim) of Goshen and Bradley Whitehead (Jewel); her grandsons, Alexander Whitehead of Mishawaka and Tyler Whitehead; her nieces, Michele Donovan (Patrick) of St. Augustine and Jana Whitehead of Goshen; and her nephew Michael Miller (Christina) of Tampa, Florida..

Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
