She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. C. K. Bender and Alice Bender (Boren); and her siblings, Dr. Robert A. Bender (Judith) and Rebecca "Becka" Snider (Judi Moor). She is survived by: her brother Dr. Bruce H. Bender (Sherry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews she loved.
