He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Haarer of Shipshewana and Charles W. Haarer (Barbara) of Middlebury; his granddaughters, Chelsea Gorsuch (Wesley) of Middlebury and Erin Schrader (Shawn) of Goshen; and his brother William Haarer (Shirley) of Sarasota, FL..
